SIOBHAN CLUNE APPOINTED AS ISF’S FIRST DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT

Siobhan Clune, a seasoned development leader with nearly two decades of fundraising experience, joined the ISF staff on October 4, 2021, as the nonprofit’s first Director of Development.

Siobhan brings a wealth of experience in leading Massachusetts-area fundraising initiatives for several independent schools, including The Shady Hill School, The Park School and Dexter and Southfield Schools. For the past seven years, Siobhan served as the development director for Cape Cod’s WE CAN Corporation. She created and managed its comprehensive development program to raise money to empower women going through life transition and challenges.

“We are delighted to have Siobhan as part of our team, particularly as the ISF steps into its second decade,” says Peggy F. O’Neill, ISF Executive Director. “Her talent and experience and the position itself signify great things ahead for the ISF as we deepen our mission to support the organizations that keep Americans and American interests abroad safer and more secure.”

She received a M.S. in Policy, Planning, and Administration with a Concentration in Leadership in Community Education and Human Services from Wheelock College and a B.A. in Communications from University of Massachusetts Amherst. In 2016, she received the Cape and Plymouth Business “40 Under 40” Award and has presented at a national conference for CASE-NAIS (Council for Advancement and Support of Education – National Association of Independent Schools).
